Get the folders your projects expect

The ZIP includes an Xcode AppIcon set with Contents.json, Android density folders with adaptive icon XML, and PWA icons with a web manifest.

Start with one strong source

A square image at 1024×1024 or larger produces the cleanest set. Non-square images use a centered crop, and smaller images are flagged before download.

Transparent sources stay transparent where the platform permits it. iOS files are flattened on white because App Store icons cannot include transparency.

Review before the store upload

The kit removes repetitive resizing, but it cannot judge tiny details, platform masks, or how the icon looks beside other apps. Check the final set in Xcode, Android Studio, a browser, and at least one real device or simulator.

The included app names, background color, theme color, and start URL are safe placeholders. Replace them with the real product values before release.

Questions about mobile app icon kits

Which image types can I upload?

Use PNG, JPG, WebP, or AVIF files up to 6 MB.

Does the source image need to be square?

No, but the tool uses a centered square crop. A square source gives you more control over the result.

What does the iOS folder include?

It includes iPhone, iPad, and App Store PNG files plus the Contents.json file Xcode expects.

What does the Android folder include?

It includes density-specific launcher icons, adaptive foreground images, adaptive icon XML, a background color, and a 512-pixel Play Store icon.

Does the ZIP include a web manifest?

Yes. The PWA folder includes standard and maskable icons plus manifest.webmanifest with placeholder app details.

Is my uploaded icon stored?

No. The server processes the image for the preview or ZIP response and does not save it.

Can I upload the files without reviewing them?

You should review them first. Small details, transparency, masks, and store rules can change how an icon appears.
