What we publish and why
Mydentify helps people find software by the job they need done. We publish product listings, directory research, practical guides, and free checks when they help a reader make a clearer choice.
We prefer useful, specific information over promotional claims. A listing or article can be edited, held, or removed when its facts cannot be supported or no longer help readers.
How we check directory facts
We start with public first-party pages such as submission forms, terms, pricing pages, sample listings, robots rules, and sitemaps. We may use automated checks to collect and compare facts, then review the record before it is treated as a qualified opportunity.
Each record keeps its source, review date, operating status, pricing label, link-type label, and confidence. A claimed Domain Rating is treated as a changing third-party signal, not as a promise of traffic, ranking, or link value. See the directory methodology for the scoring details.
Where AI helps, and stops
AI tools may help us organize notes, compare repeated fields, or draft plain-language explanations. They do not replace source checks or make final publication decisions on their own.
We do not invent product features, founder identities, customer results, reviews, traffic, authority, or backlink outcomes. When evidence is incomplete, we label the record as pending, provisional, or unverified.
How we handle paid placement
Paid sponsorships and other commercial placements are labeled and follow separate eligibility rules. Payment does not buy a community signal, an organic rank, an editorial finding, or a guaranteed recommendation.
A free listing may have its own requirements, including a reciprocal badge or a followed link. We show those requirements when they are part of the offer and remove a badge when the public listing no longer supports it.
How we update public pages
We record the date a source was reviewed and update a page when important facts change, a public listing is published or removed, or a reader reports a material error. Research reports keep their snapshot date so readers can tell what was known at publication.
Mydentify is operated by Timothy Allard. He is responsible for the launch platform's public direction and final editorial decisions.
How to report a mistake
Send the page URL, the fact that looks wrong, and a first-party source when you have one. Email hello@mydentify.com. We review correction requests and update the record when the evidence supports a change.
