How to use

How to build a launch asset pack

  1. 1

    Paste the product URL

Use the public homepage that publishes your current logo and social image.

  2. 2

    Create the image ZIP

The tool finds the best public source images and creates seven common launch sizes.

  3. 3

    Review every file before upload

Open the ZIP, check every crop, and confirm the current destination form before submitting.

Why this matters

Stop resizing the same images

Launch sites ask for the same few image shapes in different sizes. One reviewed pack gives you a clean starting point for each form.

Guide

Prepare launch images once

Get the repeated image shapes

The ZIP contains four square identity images and three wide cover images. It also includes a manifest with the source URLs, source dimensions, warnings, and generated filenames.

  • 512×512 and 256×256 directory logos
  • 240×240 Product Hunt thumbnail and 128×128 favicon
  • 1200×630 social cover, 1600×900 launch cover, and 1270×760 Product Hunt gallery image

Use the images already published

The tool checks structured logo data, visible logo images, site icons, Open Graph images, and Twitter images. A small source can look soft after enlargement, so the ZIP records a warning when the source is below the target size.

When no wide image is usable, the tool places the logo on a neutral background instead of inventing product artwork.

Check each live form

Product Hunt currently recommends a 240×240 square thumbnail and 1270×760 gallery images. Other launch and directory forms often request a square logo, a cover, or screenshots without publishing exact dimensions.

Requirements change and some forms reveal fields only after sign-in. These files are reusable starting sizes, not a promise that every destination will accept every file.

Questions

Questions about launch image packs

Which files are in the ZIP?

You get seven PNG or JPG images, an asset manifest, and a short readme.

Does the tool change my website?

No. It only reads the public page and public image files.

Why does a logo look soft?

The source image may be smaller than the requested size. Use a larger original logo when the manifest shows that warning.

Why is the cover plain?

No usable wide image was found, so the tool used your logo on a neutral background.

Will every directory accept these files?

No. Forms and limits change. Confirm each live form before uploading.

Does the ZIP include listing copy?

No. Use the Launch Copy and Product Facts Pack to prepare the matching copy.
