What Googlebot means
Googlebot is the crawler Google uses to read public web pages. What it finds helps decide which pages can appear in Google Search results at all.
A founder's product page might read perfectly to a human visitor, but if Googlebot cannot reach or render it properly, that page has little chance of ever showing up in a Google search.
Googlebot visiting your site is not the same as your page ranking well, or even appearing in results at all. Being crawled is only the first step before indexing and ranking.
Check whether Googlebot can reach your key pages by reviewing your robots.txt rules and confirming there is no accidental block on your product or listing pages.
Why this matters for builders
Your product pages and directory listings need to be reachable and clear when Googlebot visits.
Mistake builders make often
Some builders assume their page must be search-friendly simply because it looks fine in a browser, without checking whether Googlebot can actually reach and read it.
What to do now
Check crawl access with the Sitemap Checker and Canonical URL Checker to confirm Googlebot can reach your important pages.
