What Title tag means
A title tag is the HTML title set for a page. Search engines often display it as the main headline in results, though they sometimes rewrite it to better match a search.
A founder's directory listing might have a vague title tag like 'Home' left over from a template default, instead of a clear title naming the actual product, which makes it far less clickable in a results list.
Setting a title tag does not guarantee search engines will use it exactly as written. They can and do rewrite titles when they think a different version better matches the search.
Check your page's title tag in your browser tab or page source, and make sure it clearly names your product instead of a generic template default.
Why this matters for builders
A clear title helps people choose your product page or listing over a vague result.
Mistake builders make often
Some founders leave a generic, template-default title tag on their homepage or listing page, missing an easy chance to clearly name their product in search results.
What to do now
Check your title tags with the What Does My Website Say? tool and rewrite any that are vague or generic.
